Our Story

Gauchos Fire, is a company based in Indianapolis, Indiana created to bring the Brazilian flavors, culture, and tradition to the Hoosier land. Gauchos Fire food truck and restaurant is the dream and realization of two immigrants: Rogerio Tregnago (from Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil) and his wife Ruby Tregnago (from Bogota, Colombia). Rogerio loves to share his gaucho traditions and his love for a good piece of beef (churrasco).

Rogerio has live in Indianapolis for more than 10 years and he has brought his experience from the restaurant business to their mobile cuisine and now to their brick and mortar, where he can delight people with some of the most popular Brazilian specialties.

Come for the food, stay for the people-watching. Gaucho’s was ahhhhmazing! Big portions of mouth-watering food came out hot and super fresh. The bread has the best consistency for a sandwich of this proportion, and the steak was cooked perfectly.

What an amazing little restaurant. It is located in a popular food spot and that’s how I came upon it. Unfortunately, all I got to try were the chicken skewers but I would gladly love to try everything on the menu

These folks give Bottleworks an excellent reputation. Exceptional cheesesteak that beats anything Philly can muster. Be sure to try the lemonade, it’s delicious!

I got the ultimate Brazilian sandwich and man was it good. I was afraid it might be dry but their sauce was delicious and it was so flavorful, it felt like a different taste in every bite.
The garage has a great environment for a food court style location. For me I grabbed a beer from Axle’s while I waited, which the bartender was very knowledgeable
